THE
TEAM
Rafael
Portillo is Professor of English Studies at the University of
Sevilla, Spain, where he was first appointed as junior lecturer in
1978. He was previously a member of staff at the universities of
Salamanca, Spain (1972-75) and Edinburgh, Scotland (1975-78). His
main fields of research are Theory and Practice of Theatre and Drama;
Medieval, Renaissance and Restoration Drama; Shakespeare Studies. He
has directed and/or acted in numerous amateur university theatre
productions, and has written several short plays for teenagers.

Juan
A. Prieto-Pablos is Associate Professor of English Studies at the

Analysis and Renaissance Literature. His main fields of research are
